Salvador was one of the best vacations I’ve had when it comes to food. Every where we went there were options, espeically if you were willing to try the local Biahian food.

One of our first activities was a boat ride out to an island off of Salvador called Ilha dos Frades. We spent time on the beach, got some snacks and drinks and had lunch at one of the local restaurants. The boat ride out and back was great, though the ride back was a bit rocky as we were coming back in a storm.

We took a day trip out to Praia de Forte. Beautiful beach and the turtle sanctuary was great! Also had a cute shopping area. Lunch was seafood stew and a paella. We ended the evening with a large salad at the nearby pizza place.
